Biography:
Chief Executive of the Industrial Society, Tony Morgan is developing a new model of leadership for British business. This former Olympic sailing silver medallist has a background in the commercial sector as well as with non-profit organisations. Having played key roles in companies such as Purle, Morgan Hemingway, Wimpey, Wistech Plc. and the Alexander Corporation has provided Morgan with broad experience of corporate leadership.
Morgan has also played an active role in the non-profit sector: he is the co-founder of the Campaign for Social Democracy (1971), the National Committee for Electoral Reform (1973) and Youth at Risk (present); he has also been a member of the British Olympic Yachting appeal, the Royal Yachting Association Olympic Committee and a Governor of the BBC (1971-76).
