Biography:

Dr. Stephen Covey is an author, speaker, consultant and leadership mentor of international renown. Covey's message of principled leadership in organisational and personal lives has inspired millions world-wide. His message is one of encouraging ethical leadership that emphasises character, humankind, and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of human existence.

These ideas have been popularised by a variety of books and articles as well as being articulated on radio and television. Having authored the hugely successful Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Covey is also in hot demand as a lecturer and leadership mentor. To this end he founded the Covey Leadership Centre, an international consultancy company that caters to business, government and education leaders. Though the consultancy has proven immensely popular among businesses - with over 200 of the Fortune 500 on the consultancy portfolio - Covey wishes to extend its work into the education sector to broaden the development of principle-centred leadership.

Covey is a graduate of Harvard and Brigham Young University, where he is currently on the faculty.
