Biography:

Mirai Chatterjee is the General Secretary of the Self-Employed Women's Association in India - a trade union of over 200,000 self-employed women. A member of the Screening Committee of Health Watch in India, she is a leading expert on hygiene and public health planning and is involved in the field of primary health care in Gujarat.

She is a member of the Board of the Voluntary Health Association of India and a trustee of the National Foundation for India.
