Biography:

Throughout her career Leticia Ramos Shahani has focused on foreign policy, social development, the role of women and North-South relations. Recently retired, her career spanned a variety of roles.

In the diplomatic realm she was a career ambassador, became Assistant Secretary General for Social Development and Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations, taught in a University and was a Philippine Senator for twelve years. After pursuing the social good, Leticia Ramos Shahani recently retired to pursue her own personal interests.
