Biography:

Lawrence Chickering is the founder and Associate Director of the International Centre for Economic Growth (ICEG), an international economic policy institute. Chickering directs the ICEG's Near East programs, focusing on bringing together Egyptian academics in support of the Egyptian Government's economic reform programmes. The author of Beyond Left and Right, Chickering is a graduate of Yale and Stanford.
