Biography:

Jonah Edelman is a recent graduate of Yale and has earned a PhD at Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship. He is now the President of Stand for Children, which aims to identify, train, and connect local children's activists engaging in advocacy, awareness-raising, and service initiatives on an ongoing basis as well as organising a national day of commitment to children in the US.

While at Yale he founded a mentorship program as well as running a pregnancy prevention bureau. Before attending Oxford, Edelman founded the Leadership Education and Athletics Partnership, which matches local college and high school students with young public housing residents. Jonah Edelman is the son of Marian Wright Edelman, the President of the Children's Defense Fund.
